The most recent British budget highlights just how unfriendly our politicians are to private investors

Do any of our politicians ever consider the value of the private investor? Given the strength of the whip-free Independent presence in the current Dáil, it seems extraordinary that among them I can find not one personal investor-friendly voice. The upshot is that aside from our favourable corporation tax rate which attracts foreign direct investment, our investment tax regime is close to the worst in Europe.
