DCU’s newly founded Institute for Future Media and Journalism aims to bring journalism into the technological age while proving to technology experts that journalism matters

The Institute for Future Media and Journalism (FuJo) in DCU will be officially launched on Tuesday, but it is already preparing a funding application for Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for research and innovation.

The institute brings together a range of research projects in relation to the integration of journalism, data analytics and digital innovation which have a cumulative value of almost €4 million.
