Plan your claims under Revenue’s new R&D tax credit guidelines

Last week the Revenue published its new tax credit guidelines for research and development (R&D).

More than 1,500 companies use the R&D Tax Credit each year to cut tax bills and generate cash refunds. SMEs are well-represented, accounting for about 90 per cent of the number of claims made.

These companies come from a broad range of sectors, including software development, food and drink and the life sciences.
