Permanent TSB will change standard variable rates

Permanent TSB has said it will cut its standard variable interest rates, allowing more than 70,000 existing homeloan customers on rates of 4.5 per cent to move to rates starting from 3.7 per cent.

The new rates for customers will vary depending on the amount owed and the value of their home, PTSB said.
