Out of Office: Remote working returns; familiar faces at Sean FitzPatrick’s funeral

The cabinet agreed to change the official government advice on working from home from Friday, in a move that will halt many businesses’ efforts to bring staff back into the office. The decision came amid rising case numbers, and followed a recommendation from the National Public Health Emergency Team (Nphet) that remote working was advisable where at all possible. The public health team said employers should be supportive of such arrangements.
