Some €1 million will be invested in a digitally-led marketing campaign for Lottoland, an online lottery that has just launched in Ireland.

The campaign was officially launched last week in a stunt that saw comedian Oliver Callan impersonate US president Donald Trump and “mistakenly” arrive at the Dáil for the St Patrick’s Day shamrock presentation.

“Trump” made an appearance outside the Dáil to meet Taoiseach “Edna Kelly” before visiting the Molly Malone statue. ...
