Cork developer Michael O’Flynn has emerged as the preferred bidder to acquire the 195-acre Liffey Park Technology Campus in Co Kildare from US computer giant HP.

O’Flynn is being backed by global fund manager BlackRock Real Estate, with which he has previously worked on commercial property developments. Estate agent CBRE was seeking €50 million for the campus, which has nine main buildings and high-quality infrastructure links.
