Facebook’s $2 billion virtual-reality headset maker Oculus has set up an Irish office following its acquisition of a company here.

Oculus VR bought Cork company InfiniLed in a multimillion deal that emerged last week. InfiniLed is being renamed Oculus VR Ireland and has an office in Cork city centre.

One private equity source with knowledge of the deal put the price paid by Oculus at some €60 million.
