It’s turning out to be a good month for technology entrepreneur Ray Nolan.

Sky Scanner, where he was chairman for three years, is this week being valued at $1.52 billion (€1.35 billion) as Scottish Equity Partners attempt to sell its 10 per cent stake, valuing Nolan’s 2 per cent holding at just over $30 million.

His e-commerce business XSellCo is going from strength to strength, serving as much as $6 billion worth of transactions a day and growing...
