'No more surprises': Sport Ireland to audit FAI

The board of the FAI has told Transport, Tourism and Sport Minister Shane Ross that they intend to step down after a plan for an overhaul of governance at the association is agreed and approved at an AGM in July or an earlier EGM.

Ross was speaking at the Oireachtas Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport after it emerged that the Companies Registration Office had received a report from auditors Deloitte saying that ...
