Cricket Ireland’s growth has been swift, thanks to World Cup success. Now all it needs are a sponsor and a chance for the national team to join the Test-playing nations.

For the Ireland cricket team at the World Cup, motivation has never been much of an issue. Each time the players step out onto the pitch, they are essentially playing to cement the future of the professional sport in Ireland.
