A Dublin woman has raised €150,000 to bring to market a lingerie range for women who have undergone breast cancer surgery.

Ciara Donlon established Theya Lingerie in 2013 and spent two years developing the range, which is also suitable for women who are undergoing radiotherapy treatment or recovering from cosmetic surgery.

Donlon came up with the idea for the company when she was running a lingerie shop in the Dublin suburb of Ranelagh.

“I found a lot of women coming in asking for a certain type of post-surgery lingerie,” she said.
