Budget 2017 did not dramatically change the tax environment for investors. However, there were small steps taken on capital tax, and the hint of more to come, writes Emma Kennedy

In the weeks leading up to Budget 2017, it became clear that it was to be a budget borne more out of politics than economics, with many competing interests to accommodate.
