Design student Conor Cogan’s college sideline has grown into a thriving business, selling online and through 30 outlets in Ireland and abroad
Conor Cogan from Navan set up Bearded Man Ireland in 2016 to market a range of handmade wooden products while studying for a degree in science at Maynooth.
There are six products in the Bearded Man range, priced from €12.95, including a bottle opener, shaving brush and pizza cutter. Made from ash, beech or walnut, they are available to buy online at Beardedmanireland.com. Customers have the option of including a personalised engraving.
