Stillorgan Rugby Club acquired a site on Tibradden Road in Rathfarnham

Nama has sold more than ten acres of land in south Dublin to a rugby club for about €300,000.

Stillorgan Rugby Club acquired the site on Tibradden Road in Rathfarnham recently in a deal backed by Dublin businessman Michael Heavey.

It is currently zoned for agricultural use, but the club plans to apply for planning permission to turn it into three pitches, a training centre and clubhouse.
