William Scanlon is the new chief executive at the Tyndall National Institute. Scanlon joins from Activ Wireless, where he was founder and managing director for eight years. Before that, Scanlon was head of the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and chair of wireless communications at Queen’s University in Belfast for ten years.
