Brexit breather puts spring in retailers' step

Retail Ireland said the value of sales grew by 4.7 per cent in the first three months of 2019 compared with a year earlier, helped by this year’s milder weather

Retail Ireland has reported what it describes as a “robust” start to 2019 for the sector, though it warned that the figures benefited from a comparison with last year’s snow disruption.
