Chain refused permission to open outlet near famous cathedral
Fast food giant McDonald’s has launched legal action against the Italian city of Florence after it was refused permission to open an outlet near the city’s Il Duomo cathedral.
“McDonald’s has the right to submit an application because this is permitted under the law, but we also have the right to say no.”
