Magazine backed by Dragons’ Den star Cowzer goes into liquidation

Magpie, a fashion magazine that won a €75,000 Dragons’ Den investment from East Coast Bakehouse founder Alison Cowzer, has folded.

The firm behind the magazine – founded by Dublin entrepreneur Georgina Heffernan as a development of her blog, The Glitter Magpie – has filed for voluntary liquidation, according to recent Companies Office documents.
