Low-profile Dublin hedge fund Abbey pays out €9m dividend

Abbey Capital, the low-profile Dublin-based hedge fund, paid its shareholders a near €9 million dividend as its profits smashed through the €20 million barrier.

Abbey made a profit of €20 million in the year to end of last June, up from €16.3 million in the previous 12-month period. Revenues climbed to €46.5 million from €40 million, buoyed by positive gains in investment markets.
