Sligo engineering firm LotusWorks aims to double its US business within three years, having established a strong stateside presence.

The US now accounts for €50 million of the company’s €78 million annual turnover.

Established in 1989 as a supplier of engineers and technicians to the manufacturing sector, LotusWorks entered the US market ten years later.

Three hundred of the firm’s 500 staff are now based in the US, and one third are Irish.
