Maeve Dwyer is head of customer services, marketing and quality at courier company DPD Ireland. Owned by La Poste, the French postal service company, DPD Ireland was established in 1986 and employs close to 1,000 people nationwide. The company is headquartered in Athlone, Co Westmeath, and has 35 depots in the Republic and the North. DPD invested €13 million in its Athlone facility in 2016 and now processes 21,000 parcels per hour.
