Life on ‘the edge’ pays off for tech start-up Intouch

Platform allows retailers analyse customer data

In-store technology designed to give bricks-and-mortar retailers a competitive edge has netted Dublin start-up Intouch.com €600,000 in funding.

Intouch closed the funding round last October with investors including state agency Enterprise Ireland and private sources. It has developed an in-store IoT edge platform that uses sensors to gather information on customers, so retailers can offer tailored customer experiences and collate and analyse customer-related data.
