Leanna Byrne: 'Angel investors deserve the saintly title'

The more I interview start-ups and founders, the more I realise that angel investors deserve the saintly title.

So, for this column, I was inspired to write to all of the budding angel investors in the room.

First of all, let’s get a picture of the market. The angel investor market is currently estimated to be worth between €70 million and €120 million, with 330 firms securing investment in 2015, according to InterTradeIreland.
