Kildare firm with €25m UAE debt to be wound up

An insolvent Co Kildare building firm which owes €25 million to creditors in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been put into liquidation by order of the High Court.

Kieran Wallace of KPMG was appointed liquidator of SCLAD Construction on foot of a wind-up petition by Abu Dhabi firm United Precast Concrete.
