Irish pick-up helps Grafton to strong 2016 finish
Building materials group says revenue climbed by 13.4 per cent last year
The chief executive of building materials group Grafton has said it finished the year “on a more positive note”, helped by its exposure to a number of different markets.
Gavin Stark’s comments came in a trading update which revealed that revenue at the Irish-based group climbed by 13.4 per cent last year to reach £2.51 billion. When the impact of currency movements was stripped out, the increase was 10.4 per cent.
