Resigning ourselves to the idea that journalism will eventually die and there is nothing we can do about it is, frankly, embarrassingly lazy

The news industry is facing into another year of rising print costs, accusations of a “mainstream media” agenda (whatever the hell that is), competitors like Netflix and Amazon and anything else in the world that takes our audiences’ attention, falling circulation and a battle for advertising revenue.
