Irish economy ‘could be worth €500bn by 2030’

Ireland’s economy could be worth close to €500 billion by the end of the next decade, according to forecasters at a respected British economic think-tank.

The London-based Centre for Economics & Business Research (CEBR) said Ireland’s economy would be among the fastest-growing economies in Europe over the next three years. It also said the overall value of the economy hit an estimated €306 billion in 2018 and could rise to €478 billion by 2030.
