Animation once again? 'Irish children could miss out'

More funding for the industry is needed if we want Irish children growing up with Irish content, says Colette Sexton

As a kid in the 1990s, I grew up watching Bosco, graduated to The Den, and then dipped in and out of shows like TG4’s Aifric and RTÉ’s co-production with Southern Star, Foreign Exchange, which saw an Irish girl and Australian boy visit each other through a magic portal (it was great - trust me).
