Ireland is a perfect fit for Fitbit’s media ops

A deal with UM will see wearable devices company Fitbit’s EMEA media account being run exclusively from Dublin

Fitbit, the US- headquartered wearable devices company, has appointed UM, the media-buying division of IPG Mediabrands Ireland, to handle its media requirements across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The deal will see Fitbit run its EMEA media account, both offline and digital, exclusively through UM’s Dublin office as it pursues a lower pricing strategy aimed at boosting its active user base worldwide.
