Ireland a test bed for Medical research
Research into post-op care in the home, and developing strategies for the elderly to stay at home for longer are two of the many initiatives underway
The ease of collaboration is helping Ireland become a test bed for technologies to treat long-term health conditions.
“The big advantage we have in Ireland is that we’re small. We’ve an eco-system that develops clusters of specific areas of expertise that can network with each other. Ireland can become a test-bed for what we want to develop internationally,” Anthony McAuley, head of research at Fujitsu Ireland, told The Sunday Business Post.
