Investor Nick Furlong builds up stake in INM
Furlong’s company, Pageant Holdings, controls 3 per cent of its shares
Nick Furlong, the serial Irish investor, has emerged as one of the largest individual shareholders in Independent News & Media.
Filings by the media group last Friday reveal that Furlong’s company, Pageant Holdings, controls 3 per cent of its shares.
It is not known if this is the first time that Furlong has invested in INM, as only shareholdings above 3 per cent are required to be disclosed to the stock exchange.
