Corporate governance has long been of concern to Independent News & Media and its most prominent and largest individual shareholder, Denis O’Brien.

Like privacy, it is one of those topics about which the mogul has repeatedly commented. As such, his current silence about the dizzying array of corporate governance issues assailing INM is all the more baffling.
