INM director targets further cost cuts

Allan Marshall, a non-independent non-executive director of Independent News & Media, has begun a new editorial cost review of the company.

Marshall, who was reclassified this year as a non-independent director following a review by consultancy group Deloitte, met senior editors in INM in recent days to identify more savings and new revenue opportunities.
