Hedgecroft sues energy firm over fees in €60m funding round deal

A corporate finance firm is suing Eddie O’Connor’s Mainstream Renewable Power over millions it claims it is due over a €60 million fundraising exercise,The Sunday Business Post understands.

The wind and solar energy firm closed a new funding round from wealthy Cantor Fitzgerald clients and institutions, and BlueBay Ireland Corporate Credit, the national pension fund-backed investor.

The case is being taken by Hedgecroft, trading as Beary Capital Partners, and was lodged with the High Court last week.
