Tullow chairman Aidan Heavey has sold roughly £4 million worth of his shares in order to take up a chunk of shares in the oil company’s €700 million rights issue.
The transaction allows Heavey to maintain his percentage holding in Tullow, which stood at just under 1 per cent of the company’s shares.
