Guinness family and Malone weighing up bids for Carton House
A hospitality operation backed by Guinness heir Lord Edward Iveagh’s family is also reported to be interested
Cable billionaire John Malone and the Guinness family are among those considering bids on the Carton House hotel and golf resort.
Malone’s Irish hotel consortium, John Lally’s Lalco, declined to comment when contacted, but its team has visited Carton on several occasions and viewed the data for the property.
