Greencore, whichsupplies 700 million sandwiches to British supermarkets, is considering airlifting ingredients to Britain in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

Speaking to journalists in Dublin today,Greencore chief executive Patrick Coveney said the company was stockpiling some ingredients, but in the event of delays at the Dover and Calais ports it would have to find alternative ways of securing delivery of some fresh produce.
