Golden Discs expects to be in 100 locations by the end of 2018, according to its chief executive, Stephen Fitzgerald.
The music retailer opened two new Dublin stores yesterday in The Square in Tallaght and a city centre flagship on Henry Street.
It now has 16 stores nationwide, a store in Wales, and concessions in 80 Tesco stores.
While streaming music is popular, Fitzgerald said, music fans still want physical formats.
