The transition to a product-led business model set Cork company Global Shares on the path to growth. Established in 2006 in Clonakilty, the firm’s origins were in financial services, and it initially offered outsourced share plan administration services.

But seven years ago, it moved to investing in software that would automate the process. Since then it has prospered, and earlier this month announced plans to recruit for 80 new jobs over two years.
