Aurelius Equity Opportunities, a Munich headquartered investor, is targeting trading business buys in the Irish market.
It is currently considering the prospect of LaRousse, the fine foods specialist being sold off by Aryzta for €20-€30 million, while other prospective interested parties are said to include the Carlyle Cardinal fund.
Aurelius also looked at AA, which sold to Carlyle Cardinal for €156.6 million.
