Galway firm seeks court protection after battle with French tycoon

ÉireComposites, the Galway Gaeltacht-based company, has sought the protection of the courts through examinership following a bitter legal dispute with a wealthy French magnate.

The company, which makes high tech parts for companies like Airbus, Formula One, Bombardier and the European Space Agency, employs 60 people and has losses in the region of €7 million. State agency Údarás na Gaeltachta has invested some €500,000 in ÉireComposites.
