Four in five firms not ready for gender pay gap bill

Close to 80 per cent of employers in Ireland have yet to record details of pay disparity within their organisations relating to gender, despite cabinet approval of the Gender Pay Gap Information Bill earlier this year.

A report released last month by Adare Human Resource Management (Adare HRM) found that 40 per cent of the companies surveyed believe they are prepared for the requirements outlined in the new bill.
