Former NIB boss Healy lands English building society job

Andrew Healy, the former boss of National Irish Bank, has been appointed as the chief executive of a British building society.

Healy, who has been running the Bank of Maldives since his departure from National Irish, has become chief executive of Leek United Building Society.

Healy was one of the youngest executives ever appointed in Ireland when he took over National Irish in 2005.
