Former Google boss steps down as Liberty director
News follows loss of insurer’s finance chief to rival company
John Herlihy, the former boss of Google in Ireland, has stepped down as a director of Liberty Insurance, one of the country’s largest genera insurance companies.
Herlihy resigned as a non-executive director of the Irish arm of the company in April, according to a filing with the Companies Registration Office in recent days.
