Former Dubs captain on the ball with data centre projects

Tommy Drumm, managing director at Collen Construction

Collen Construction is on course to record revenues of €300 million in the current financial year, having completed data centre contracts worth about €2.5 billion since 2010.

“We grew during the recession counter-cyclically, because we started building data centres in 2010,” said Tommy Drumm, managing director at Collen Construction.

“We’ve since built about €1 billion-worth of data centres and we’ve managed probably about €1.5 billion-worth of client equipment as part of that process.”
