Move to come as firm set to open London office

Fire Financial Services is eyeing an external funding round next year as it gears up to open its London office, according to founder Colm Lyon.

Lyon, who founded Fire after selling Realex payments to US giant Global Payments for €115 million, injected €4 million into Fire last week to help with running expenses and to fund the set-up of its London office.
