Fintech firm Plynk raises €25 million investment

The business, which is based on St Stephen’s Green in Dublin, has 6,000 users in Ireland

Dublin based financial technology start-up Plynk has raised €25 million in a series A funding round.

The social money transfer business announced the investment at MoneyConf in Madrid.

The business has confirmed at least 20 new jobs will be created on the back of the funding round over the course of the next 18 months. The figure represents one of the largest series A rounds ever raised by an Irish business.
