Finance Ireland moving into home mortgage market

Finance Ireland, the speciality lender founded by Billy Kane, is planning an assault on the mortgage market in a bid to break the dominance of the country’s main banks.

The lender, which is primarily focused on lending to small firms, car finance and leasing, will launch a residential mortgage product either later this year or in 2018.
