Fiid bags €400,000 deal supplying Tesco

The plant-based food firm Fiid has secured a deal worth €400,000 to supply 75 Tesco stores around the country, doubling its weekly output overnight.

Founder Shane Ryan said the firm’s range of three ready meals – a chickpea tagine, a tomato and lentil ragu, and a black bean chilli – were now stocked in a total of 180 stores in Ireland, as well as on the Ocado website in Britain.
